MYL Classic League

Appropriate for players in Grade 1 through Grade 8.

Indoor practices begin after Thanksgiving. Games typically begin the end March or beginning of April.

Preseason indoor practices are held at the Pyne Arts School in Lowell. Indoor turf practices are at Tyngsboro Sports Center while outdoor practices and home games are held at the Cawley Stadium complex in Lowell.

NEW this year. There will be weekly skills sessions starting after Thanksgiving at the Pyne Arts School running through the start of the season. Indoor turf practices will begin late February / early March at Tyngsboro Sports Center.

Teams generally practice twice a week on weeknights starting in April when fields open.

Each team will play 8 games, 4 at home and 4 on the road. Away games are usually within a 30 minute drive.

Teams will compete in a one-day, three-game year-end Jamboree in Devens to finish the season.

All players new to the program will be provided a full uniform kit as part of their registration cost.

Starting this season, returning players who need a new uniform will be responsible for the cost. Uniform items are available a la carte.

All players will be provided a new practice jersey each season.

Players are responsible to purchase their own equipment. The league will setup a fitting day. There is limited stock in used equipment available to first time players thanks to donations.

Through fundraising efforts the league is able to provide the indoor facility rentals and year-end Jamboree at no additional cost.
